Packaging Specialist - Karawang Factory - Nestle Indonesia

Job Description:
Ensure continuous improvement of packaging and filling performance of bulk coffee powder and Mixes, Drive the implementation of packaging best practices (BOM finished good, GIN 23.010-f / p), Deploy new filling technology and packaging materials and Maximize return on capital investment through appropriate capacity management analysis and filling line utilization

Main Activities:

Support new product development and renovation of product from machine and material side
Ensure efficient industrialization / trials achieving short introduction lead time
Ensure faultless new product launches: full compliance to all applicable norms / specifications and superior first times quality results (from product formulation to 1st-2nd Ind. Lots execution)
Support the 60 / 40+ initiatives with technical competences, contributing to achieve consumer preference, for the majority of the product range and ensuring that the nutritional characteristics of the product are addressed
Ensure continuous to the business through development of advanced know-how on product and process technology
Manage and improve packaging material usage and it’s quality
Support improvement initiatives in filling and packing
Focus on Idea program, Collect and review new idea from operator, especially related to packaging material and machine equipment
Assist Supervisor in Production Department in determining training needs, related to packaging and filling machine & Facilitate training sessions in support of identified needs
Actively involve on project of cost saving activity
Timely control and update cost saving project

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree, Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical), Food Technology or Food Science
Minimum 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Good knowledge and practices in HAACP, 5S, Safety, Healthy and Environmental, SAP
Understand internal and external regulations, procedures & policies and apply them fairly and consistently.
Good leadership especially in coaching technique
Work Location: Surya Cipta City of Industry, East Karawang, West Java
Preferably Supervisor / Coordinators specializing in Engineering - Mechanical / Automotive or equivalent.
